Doris; Noticed your CHRISTIAN ZIMMERMAN. I have a Christian Zimmerman born?? d. 1809 Rohrbacher(?), Germany/Poland. Could we have the same CHRISTIAN with different wives??? My Christian's wife was Eva Dorthea Zuhlsdorf who d. 1811 Koelpin/Kielpin, Germany/Poland. (Salt Lake City Mormon records say Koelpin was changed to Polish Kielpin while someone in military familiar with area where my Zimmerman's lived said there is still a Koelpin in Germany. He did not know if it was in Rhineland or Saarland). Someone in the POSEN-L site said Kielpin is near Berlin. I do not know and am VERY confused. There is a book in Salt Lake library on Vo:lklingen, Germany which has several generations of my Zimmerman family. This is where I got Christian, Eva, death dates/places, etc. I have no other children for my Christian which leads me to believe Johan Gottlieb, b. 1789, was the only one of the family in Vo:lklingen. Christian & Eva had a son Johann Gottlieb b. 1789 Koelpin m. 1838 in Volklingen, Saarland, Germany.
