UT 84605, Volume I. He does not trace your line as you stated it but does trace Niclaus Zimmerman, b. 1575 in Steffisburg and some of is children and descendants. I think he has my line which went to Markirch, Alsace, France before 1700. I suggest that you contact the author and see if he has information about your family. Glad to help. Robert Carpenter
