As I understand the data base, it is not a listing of those who received social security benefits. It is a listing of those for whom a social security death benefit was paid. Also, the name has to be exact -- my father and I have the same name, so his name has SR (for senior) behind it. When searching the database, the SR has to be included with the surname.
