I would like any information on Barbary Zimmerman, b.1788 S.C. Died in Ala. ?1882 104 years. Barbary married Joseph A. Smith, their daughter Ann married a Norris and than James H. Lee. There was a son Joseph Jr. in Perry Co. Ala. 1850, Barbary was living with them as Barbary Owens. Was told she make have lived with a family named Rush or Rushing when she died. In Md. I found a George d. 1799, widow Catharine & 8 children: George, Jacob, Elizabeth, wife of George Beckinbaugh, Mickel and than children that were minors, Catharine, Barbara, Mary, & John. Matthias Shreup was Guardian, may have been widow's father. George the oldest son bought the land, several tracts named, total of 292 1/4 acres near Creagers Town. Does anyone know of this family, Barbara could be the one I am searching for.
