I am new to this list. I am searching for info about my gggf Baltus UNSEL(L) and my gggm Catherine ZIMMERMAN. They lived in Utica, NY between 1855 and 1860. We don't know where they lived before. We know nothing of Baltus' history or place or date of birth. Catherine was born in 1818 in Baden, Germany. We know she had two sisters-Mary ZIMMERMAN BECK and Rosa ZIMMERMAN SCHREIGLER and we think a brother Matthew who "moved west". She supposedly arrived in America (? port of entry) in 1853. Can anyone help us with info about Catherine ZIMMERMAN? If we can find where Catherine lived before here marriage we can possibly trace both gggrandparents.
