Rob; Your letter was interesting. I can add another branch of the Lutherans which is from Germany but really of Slavic origin - the Wends or Sorbs. They seem to have gone to South Texas. Martin Luther's wife Katherin von Bora may have been Wendish. They had their own language. I got the info out of the latest magazine from the Lutheran Brotherhood. Phil Johnson
