Hi, I finally made some headway today on my Zimmermans and want to see if anyone can make a connection. Previously, all I knew was that an Ann (Nancy) Zimmerman married John BEAM in Frederick Co. Maryland in 1811. I have conflicting sources as to her place of birth - could be Germany, Pennsylvania, Maryland - nothing definite. Today I found a land record in Frederick Co. dated December 1828. It appears that the late Catherine Zimmerman's heirs sold about 21 acres of land to Charles SCOGINS and his wife. This land was referred to as "The Orchard" and was at the east end of Union Town. Catherine's heirs were listed as follows: Rachael Zimmerman Nathan Zimmerman John Saffell and wife Mary John Beam and wife Ann Conrad Hiteshaw and wife Elizabeth David Johnson and wife Susan David Zimmerman Lydia Zimmerman Jacob Zimmerman John Zimmerman All of the above were residents of Frederick Co. except for David Zimmerman who was living in Indiana in 1828. I'm wondering if any of these Zimmerman names ring a bell with anyone - I'm sure that the wives named are also Zimmerman daughters. Also if anyone has a David Zimmerman living in Indiana in 1828?
