Any one researching this line? Christian ZIMMERMAN b. abt. 1825 who emigrated with his son John (Johannes) 1749 on the ship "Patience." Christian may have married a Simon. Baptismal records of their issue, listed Christian's wife as Anna Barbara or Anna Maria. Christian is reportedly buried at St. Peter's Church in Churchville, Augusta Co. VA, but no record of this has been found. His will was proved Augusta Co. WVA. I am trying to determine the origin of Christian's birthplace in Germany and any other information available. Thanks.
