I thought that ZIMMER ment "room", such as posted on Post Hotels and Gusthus as: "Frei Zimmer" or words to that meaning. "....room free/ or available". Don' matter. I am looking for ZIMMERMANN's from the Minden area that have connections to the late 1700c. My 3xGreatGrandmother, Julian Catharine Zimmermann married Johann F Grune, the gate-keeper in Minden, but I know nothing or her parents, etc. Her dob c1792, and dod c1859. Their du Elizabeth married August NEUMANN Apr 17 , 1843 (dob c1819, dod c1880). (August dob c1813, dod unk). Is their any Mindeners out in wen-land?
