Married to Anna Martha Melhause born 2-10-1842 died 8-23-1907. 12 children: George Zacharais Zimmerman b. 12-18-1861, d. 6/11/1925 Mary Zimmerman b. 11-23-1864, d.5/18/1925 Kate Zimmerman b. 10-24-1866. d.02/14/1887 Anna Zimmerman b. 9-28-1868, d. 6/14/1932 John Zimmerman b.4-1-1870, Wilhelm Zimmerman b. 7-16-1871, 8/25/1962 Christena Zimmerman b.4-25-1873 d. 2/11/1932 Elizabeth Zimmerman b. 6-23-1875d. 6/19/1916 Fred Zimmerman b. 6-23-1875, d.8/23/1954 August Zimmerman b. 3-25-1877 August Zimmerman b. 8-21-1878 Carl Zimmerman b. 4-29-1881d. 3/20/1955 in Rochelle, Illinois Martha Zimmerman b. 3-1-1886, d.3/13/1963 I think that the first August probably passed away before the second one listed was born. I do not feel that the info was for his death. This information was found in my grand mother's bible after she had passed away.This information was for her fathers family George Z. Zimmerman and his wife Christena Zimmerman (this was her maiden name and she was from Kansas)born 7-18-1865. George and Cristena had 7 children, Anna Martha Zimmerman b. 12/6/1892 married Onno Gruben and Alfred C. Bratton Richard William Zimmerman b. 1/3/1894, married Lillian Gruben and Anna Bischoff Rose Martha Zimmerman b. 5/8/1895 married Floyd Oyer Ella Elizabeth Zimmerman born 4/24/1899 Emma Fredrickey Zimmerman b. 8/5/1904 Bertha Edith Zimmerman b. 9/17/1905 Maria Christena Zimmerman b. 8/14/1907. d. 8/16/1907 Does any of this sound familiar. I do not know exactly where they were from. I know that Jacob And Anna were from Germany and that they lived in different areas of Illinois. Thanks Rose Oyer Gauthier
