ZIMMERMAN, 78 years old, an old resident of Kansas City, died yesterday at his home, 3509 Park avenue. He was born in Corydon, Ind., and was a veteran of the Civil War. In the early '80s he went to Kansas and settled in Waverly. He lived there until 1896 when he came to Kansas City. Mr. ZIMMERMAN was a member of the firm of Herring & Zimmerman, grocers, 4101 Tracy avenue, until about three years ago, when he retired from active business. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary ZIMMERMAN; three sons, Charles ZIMMERMAN, 1907 Linwood boulevard; Joe ZIMMERMAN of the home address, and Stanley L. ZIMMERMAN, 4633 East Twenty-seventh street; two daughters, Mrs. A. H. KEY, also of 4633 East Twenty-seventh street, and Mrs. Frank HERRING of the home address. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the home. Burial will be in Waverly. (I have no connection with this person but let me know if you do.) neirbo
