It seems you are the grandson of Marie Sonnenfroh. Marie I heard had many children. I know nothing of these people being in Brooklyn, however, as far as I know Marie lived all her life near Rochester NY. She was oldest daughter of my father's aunt Marie (actually Maria Sonnenfroh, born as Maria Stegmaier in Germany). I am a Stegmaier [daughter of Helmuth, who immigrated to his "Aunt Marie's" farm in Rochester]. Marie's daughter, Marie, was his first cousin therefore. I do remember that she married a Zimmerman. Didn't know his name was John, however. Her youngest sister Laura died in 2000, and she knew all the details of the family. Sorry, not too many Stegmaiers/Sonnenfrohs are left now to know the details.
