It seems to me that it is a family heirloom and it came from somewhere in Wisconsin, a traditional place of destination for immigrants from Bern, Switzerland. The vendor is Daniel Zimmermann of Wattenwil, Canton Bern, the buyer is Christian Krebs of Rüti bei Riggisberg, Bern, Switzerland. If anyone relates to either of these families, please contact me.
