W. Zimmerman I believe H.W. Zimmerman was my G-Grandfathers uncle. My Grandfather was Samuel C. Beck and he and his family lived next door to the H.W. Zimmermans in Freemont. I have Samuel's civil war files and in them there are affidavits signed by H.W. Zimmerman and his brother Robert Zimmerman of Illinois. Samuel mentions in a letter that Robert Zimmerman was his uncle and I believe H.W. Zimmerman was also. If you are interested, please let me know.
