Hi List, I am a new subscriber so please bear with me as I try to get my information down correctly. I am looking for Maria Eva DUNSTLER b. Feb 14, 1662 (In Germany, I believe in Sulzfeld). She married Christian ZIMMERMAN on Jan 28, 1688. Christian was born on Dec. 30, 1669 also in Germany. I haven't been able to find any church records since I can't seem to narrow down the exact place they were born. Maria and Christian had three children: 1. Johann Georg ZIMMERMAN 2. Johann Conrad ZIMMERMAN 3. Hans Christopher ZIMMERMAN Hans was born in Ravensburg, Germany on May 16, 1692 I looked for his parents there, but no luck. I'm thinking they moved there, or the town may have changed names. What is interesting is that Hans died about 1750 in Culpepper County, Virginia (USA). He married his first wife Dorthea ROTTLE on Jul 27, 1710 while in Germany and their son John ZIMMERMAN was also born in Germany( I believe Bietigheim, Wurttemberg). so their journey to the States had to have happen after their marriage and birth of their son. If anyone can help me narrow down the actual towns these people were born in and shed some light on who Maria DUNSTLER cam from, I'd be most grateful.
