The Jacob Zimmerman, who was my g.g. uncle, was born September 12, 1845 near Ashland in Schuylkill County. He was the son of Solomon and Elizabeth (Shepley) Zimmerman. I have some other Jacob Zimmerman's from Berks and Schuykill Counties but they do not work with your Jacob's birthdate. If I come across anything else, I will forward it to you and good luck with your search.

I have a Polly Zimmerman with no parents or siblings who died about 1850. She was married to a Peter William Makeley who was the son of Zacheriah, who was the son of William Makeley. Polly and Peter were married August 4, 1846 and had sons George makeley 1847, Jacob 1849 and Levan Zimmerman Makeley 1850 ( possibly died in childbirth or shortly after). She would have been my ggggrandmother. If anyone has any information on her, I would be happy to exchange what little info I have. Vicki
