I have everything posted that I have found documented. One of the boys was a street car conductor and I think the courthouse lists him as a suicide at a fairly young age, tho' married. That was early on in my research and didn't know yet if we were connected so I have no record. It said he drank carbolic acid. It is family hear-say that one girl may have married a "Kraft" but we have found no record. I'm hoping someone will find "me" with information on the Zimmerman sibs.

Greetings to the Zimmermann list. I'm new here, and I hope to find a link for my ancestor George Zimmermann/Zimmerman of Botetourt County, VA. He was married to Mildred Henry and had at least one daughter Mariannna, born 10/12/1844 in VA. George appears in the 1830 and the 1840 Census records in Botetourt County, but I know nothing of his lineage before that. If anyone has a clue about this line, please let me now. Thanks! David Wiley g.g.g.grandson of George Zimmerman(n) Reston, VA tracingmyroots@yahoo.com letter4david@hotmail.com BTW, Mildred Henry is listed as a niece to Patrick Henry (according to "Related Families of Botetourt County, Virginia" - J. William Austin and Rececca H. R. Austin - Page 30) Any insights about that would be also greatly appreciated! __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo! Hi List, I am a new subscriber so please bear with me as I try to get my information down correctly. I am looking for Maria Eva DUNSTLER b. Feb 14, 1662 (In Germany, I believe in Sulzfeld). She married Christian ZIMMERMAN on Jan 28, 1688. Christian was born on Dec. 30, 1669 also in Germany. I haven't been able to find any church records since I can't seem to narrow down the exact place they were born. Maria and Christian had three children: 1. Johann Georg ZIMMERMAN 2. Johann Conrad ZIMMERMAN 3. Hans Christopher ZIMMERMAN Hans was born in Ravensburg, Germany on May 16, 1692 I looked for his parents there, but no luck. I'm thinking they moved there, or the town may have changed names. What is interesting is that Hans died about 1750 in Culpepper County, Virginia (USA). He married his first wife Dorthea ROTTLE on Jul 27, 1710 while in Germany and their son John ZIMMERMAN was also born in Germany( I believe Bietigheim, Wurttemberg). so their journey to the States had to have happen after their marriage and birth of their son. If anyone can help me narrow down the actual towns these people were born in and shed some light on who Maria DUNSTLER cam from, I'd be most grateful. I have much more information on John ZIMMERMAN's second wife and their descendants that I'd be willing to share if anyone is interested. Thank you, Kerstin Erickson kem829@earthlink.net

There was a Will of a Henry Zimmerman of Edgefield County, SC which is near Abbeville. The Will was dated June 20, 1798 and recorded in Will Book "A" page 166 on March 1799, which was probably his date of death. Henry's wife was named Mary and they had 2 sons and 4 daughters. Their sons were named Henry and Samuel. Their son Henry was younger than 21 when the Will was made. The daughters were Mary, Nancy, Betsy and Sara.
