I am working on a Zimmerman line and am searching for someone to assist me. This line originated in Saxony, Germany (near Waldheim) and emigrated to the US in 1840, settled in Wisconsin just north of Milwaukee (Mequon) and later dispersed to many parts of the country. Allied lines include Toepel, Muller, Walde, and Opitz. I have a lot of data that I will gladly share. I am especially interested in locating someone in the Dresden, Germany area because the parish records are not in the LDS library in Salt Lake- They have not been copied. tom

Luci, I'm not 100% positive on the daughters' names. As I said, they were given to me by Ransom's younger brother, Earl. It's possible he was mistaken. The one daughter's name he gave as Catherine L. ( "L" for Lois, maybe?). Perhaps the daughter Genevieve he told me of didn't make it to adulthood. I couldn't be sure, but I will try to follow up on this and get back to you. Ben

Her married name was Shaulis. Their family lived in Somerset County, PA. Would this be the same person you're referring to?

I am looking for my brothers Biological family and I ran accross a death certificate that he died back about 1986. That is very sad my brother knew his dad but has no iodea that he was dead. Duane was born Oct. 13, 1938 and he had 2 sons named Duane Reland Zimmerman after himself and a daughter Wendy. I have heard that Wendy died also but I can't find anything about it, His father was Alger and his mother was Alfredia, he had a brother David I think and Alger Jr and I think 2 sisters. Last known they lived in Jackson Michigan. I know that my birth mother lived in Haper Creek when she met Duane and she was just out of high school when htey got married and he went into the army and they moved to Kentucky.
