    3. Guy ,I would love to have a copy of your Zimmermans from Sulzfeld,Baden. Please send me your Gedcom file and I will gladly pay the cost.My Mother was a Zimmerman and I have been working on it but not much luck.I was born in Missouri and came to Idaho as a small child and grew up there.Married and had 6 children. My husband passed away in 1990.So I came to Utah to get out of the cold,I served a Mission for my Church in Chicago in 1993 for 1 year.Came back to Utah and met and married Phil Badger we have been married 5 years. He now has cancer of the Esophagus and stomach and has been told by the Doctors that he has 6 months. So I am planning a trip back to Missouri sometime this year depending on circumstances and I might just buzz on over to see you, okay. Please write in Email and tell me about yourself. This is exciting to meet cousins I presume.Gladys -----Original Message----- From: Guy Zimmerman <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Saturday, January 09, 1999 11:11 AM Subject: Re: [ZIMMERMAN-L] Zimmermans from Sulzfeld, Baden >Gladys, > >I am related to the Zimmermans from Sulzfeld, Baden. They lived in Lehighton, Carbon County. Ufortunately I don't have any more information that that. I think on their marriage license is said she was a servant but I can't seem to find a copy of it in my piles of stuff. With our Zimmermans being located so closely I thought we might have a connection. 3. Doris; Noticed your CHRISTIAN ZIMMERMAN. I have a Christian Zimmerman born?? d. 1809 Rohrbacher(?), Germany/Poland. Could we have the same CHRISTIAN with different wives??? My Christian's wife was Eva Dorthea Zuhlsdorf who d. 1811 Koelpin/Kielpin, Germany/Poland. (Salt Lake City Mormon records say Koelpin was changed to Polish Kielpin while someone in military familiar with area where my Zimmerman's lived said there is still a Koelpin in Germany. He did not know if it was in Rhineland or Saarland). Someone in the POSEN-L site said Kielpin is near Berlin. I do not know and am VERY confused. There is a book in Salt Lake library on Vo:lklingen, Germany which has several generations of my Zimmerman family. This is where I got Christian, Eva, death dates/places, etc. I have no other children for my Christian which leads me to believe Johan Gottlieb, b. 1789, was the only one of the family in Vo:lklingen. Christian & Eva had a son Johann Gottlieb b. 1789 Koelpin m. 1838 in Volklingen, Saarland, Germany.
