Donald, I see you Zimmerman ancestor landed in PA. I have been having trouble finding the parents of Jacob Zimmerman, born 1778, died 1845 in Union township, Schuylkill Co., PA. There is some connection to him and Emanuel and Hannah Zimmerman, who settled in the same area. Perhaps they are brothers. Did you come across these names in your research? New discovery on family tree, willing to share information on the Micheal F. G. Zimermann family who immigrated from Kortentin, Isle Of Wollin, Pommern, Prussia, to Dodge Co, Wisconsin in 1845. Micheal F.G Zimmerman, son of Johann Zimmermann. Micheal and wife Friedricka Kuehl had a large family and recently we have put the tree together. Religion at time of imiragrating "Ault Lutheraner", Old Lutheran. All chilldren( new discovery of 5 more) born in Pommern, but when they all came to Wisconsin they spread out in several areas of Dodge Co and other nearby areas, including, Beaver Dam, Burnett etc. In later years, offspring went to Oklahoma, Iowa, Minnesota etc. Rob Bowe

My g-ggrandmother was Magdelena(Lena) Zimmerman. She married Charles F. Shively. She came from Germany in 1838. I am sure she came with her family.Charles and Lena loved in Auglaize County.
