Hello! I am new to this Ziegler list. Am looking for information that would connect Frederick Ziegler of Cumberland County PA to the Zieglers in York county. My ancestor, David Ziegler was born 1814 in Cumberland Co. son of Frederick Ziegler and Elizabeth Bear Ziegler. David eventually became a tailor and moved to Port Byron IL. He married Sarah Ann Swisher in PA, and they lived for a time in Indiana Co. PA before going to IL. According to a biography, David's grandfather Ziegler was born in York Co, PA. No mention of grandfather Ziegler's first name. His grandfather Bear was said to have been born in Berks County, PA. Thanks for your help! Linda Bischoff
