There's been more activity on the Ziegler group list this week than there was all summer! Thanks, Pam and Jack, for waking us up. Based on the posts I've seen to this list over the past year, it would seem that 9 of every 10 Ziegler researchers can trace their lines through the state of Pennsylvania. However, I know of no PA Zieglers in my own line. I can trace my line back to Georg Jakob Ziegler, who was born in Wuerttemberg, Germany on October 3, 1848. He and his wife Ana Maria Weinmann Ziegler came to Faribault County, MN, in 1881, and moved on to Yamhill County, OR in 1886. They had 13 children, the names and spouses of whom I can share with anyone who might be interested.
