    3. Francis, Didn't I write you once and tell you about Michael Younger of Florence, KY and George Younger of Louisville? Both who I believe are descendants of Joseph Younger, if it's the same Joseph Younger, whose son moved to Switzerland County, IN and his son John Married a Margaret Southern Hall who had previously been married to Jeff Amos Hall from Shelbyville, KY. I looked up Jeff Amos Hall this summer when I saw a family tree of a Woodford Hall that my gggg grandfather Capt. John Younger from Shelbyville, KY bought and sold land back and forth with. Woodford had a sister(can't recall her name now), that had marrried Mark Hardin. Now I was thinking it was possibly Mark Hardin, father of Issac Hardin m. Amelia Younger Hardin, Capt.. John's sister. I could never make a connection between Woodford Hall and Jeff Amos Hall, though they were both in Shelbyville in the early 1800's.But I have talked with both George and Michael concerning dna testing. Michael wrote an article in the F.O.T.Y. book, page 33 and found out about George through Judy Hoffstetter, who knew him. Michael and George are cousins and both interested in their family line. I really didn't get to talk to Michael as he was in the middle of a wedding shower when I called, but he told me to call him back. I had talked briefly with him before but he was on his way out of town at that time. But he seemed interested. I talked with George and found out they were cousins. If this is your line, I would offer to pay for the dna test for one of the men. I will be glad to send you their phone numbers.

    3. Hi Judy, Thanks for the info. I think some e-mail bounces because of some out-of-date e-mail addresses. Several years ago I changed servers and my e-mail address, but there are places where my old address has not been deleted. The Joseph Younger you reference is not mine. My great great grandfather, Joseph Younger born in Chatham Co. NC about 1805, had many daughters, but only one son, my great grandfather William Younger, who reach adulthood and had children. William was born in IL about 1840, and brought his family to CA in the 1880's Francis Younger ----- Original Message ----- From: "Judy" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, November 08, 2006 6:01 AM Subject: [YOUNGER] Joseph Younger > Francis, Didn't I write you once and tell you about Michael Younger of > Florence, KY and George Younger of Louisville?
