I was told from the time I was a small child that we were related to the Younger gang also. This was supposedly through Pierce Camp Younger who married my gg aunt May Pauline Davis around 1905 (approximately) in either Montague co. or Wise co.TX. He was born in New Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Aug.09,1856. May Pauline Davis was born in Panola co.TX, in 1878. I think Pierce Camp Younger had a brother by the name of Josephus Younger who was also in the same area of TX. around that time. I believe Pierce Camp Younger may have had another wife and children before he married May Pauline Davis. He is listed in the 1900 Wise co.TX census, living near May Pauline and her mother Mary Pauline Davis shortly before this. Also, Pierce Camp and May Pauline are buried in Sunset Cemetery, Montague co.TX, along with other family members (there are Youngers, Davis, Buchanans, Wests,......). I would like information about this Younger line, if it is familiar to anyone.
