MRS. MARTHA GLASS YOUNGER Mrs. Martha Jane Glass Younger, age 84, of Ronda died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Villages of Wilkes Skilled Care. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 20, at 11:00 at Dennyville Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwayne Byrd officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Younger was born in Wilkes County, May 26, 1922, to James and Mattie Mastin Glass. She was a member of Dennyville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Younger was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Calvin Younger. Mrs. Younger is survived by two daughters, Lucille Woodie and husband, Dorman and Frances Wilcox and husband, Dennis all of Ronda; three sons, James Thomas Younger and wife, Trudi of Yadkinville, Rex Calvin Younger and wife, Elaine of Ronda, Dale Junior Younger and wife, Zana of Wilkesboro; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:30 until 8:30 Thursday, October 19, 2006.
