No problem with the butting in! I appreciate anything anybody has on my lines - my people apparently didn't pass down much as far as history or anything else. I thought Pierce married May Pauline really quickly and it looks like her children were born rapidly after the marriage also. It has made me wonder what the situation was with his first wife. I also looked for the first wife and children and couldn't find them. Quite a few people have confused his first wife Mary with May because the census record isn't clear. I was amazed when I first looked at it and found Pierce's family so near to May's mother's house. I would like to get in touch with any of their descendants to get a little more on that line. They had three children, two names I was unable to read, and a Clemmie C. or L. I feel quite sure the "Camp" in is name is from his mother's maiden name, Julia Weston Lewis Camp. I believe there is a Musetta name in there somewhere too. The children were quite small, so Pierce must have divorced Mary and she remarried and kept the children, or else she moved out of state, or something, because I looked all over for the Younger children from his first marriage and couldn't find a trace. If Mary had just died, then it seems logical that Pierce would have them with him in 1910. In 1910, he said he had been married to May P. for 9 years.
