Okay...I found a marriage record for Mary Younger to a Thomas Mayberry in Williamson County, TN in 1817 with Thomas Younger's name as BM (?). Could Thomas be buried in a cemetery with Mary's husband's family? Brownie Oh, to be seventy again! Oliver Wendell Holmes

Brownie, wasn't that John Mayberry, instead of Thomas Mayberry? Hi, Leni, I read somewhere that Mary was Joseph's sister and that when Joseph was trying to recruit her to joint the Mormon Church John Mayberry threaten him with a shotgun. I don't know if the story is true. Hi Fran, That was cute ! Could very well be true. They were right in the middle of it that is for sure. But it is funny when you think about it,that Mary Younger Mayberry is the only one who moved to Utah. Joseph Younger had left the church by then and had broken off with the main branch.I have done some reasearch on the Mayberry's as you know & they were pretty involved when they arrived in Utah. Funny how things turn out. Somewhere I have some news articles on the Mayberry's that I got from the Utah on-line Newspaper archives data- base. If I run across them any time soon I will send them on to you. I love to hear the little tid bits that were passed down ..They are all new clues for me.
