    1. Re: [YOUNGER] Descendants Of James Younger - Anna Nash &ThomasYounger- Mary ...
    2. William A. Younger is my gg grandfather's brother. William A, James, and Williamson in the 1860 Census of Carroll County, TN were brothers. They were sons of Williamson Younger and Mary Bomar. Williamson was son of William Younger and Mary Watkins. Mary Bomar was daughter of Bibby Bomar and Anne Bomar (first cousins). Brownie MacKie

    3. This is not the same William A. Younger who was under discussion. The William A. Younger who married Elizabeth Martin was the one I was looking to connect up to parents. Unless I'm mistaken (and I could be) the William A. you are referring to was born ca. 1803 and married Pricilla Jones??? And they were in Independence County, AR for the 1860 census. If I am wrong, please correct me. 3. No, you're not wrong. But the William in Independence did not have a middle name. And he lived in TN before 1860, because all his kids were born there. 3. I'VE GOT IT!!! The William Younger (bn 1803) who married Priscilla was son of Mary Watkins and William Younger, Sr. The William Younger (bn 1814) who married Elizabeth Martin in 1838 was son of Williamson/Mary Bomar/Younger. Neither one of these Williams had a middle name, however. The "A" was confusing, because Armistead named a son "William Armistead" and Williamson named a son "William Armistead." I don't know what happened to Armistead's William, but I know that Williamson's William is buried at Rock Island, Ill Confederate prison camp. He died during the Civil War, and I have his papers. I HOPE this clear things up a bit. Brownie On 1/18/07, Wilma Norton <[email protected]> wrote: > > This is not the same William A. Younger who was under discussion. The > William A.
