    3. I think we'd need to research Maury Co. TN records - at least that is where they were living when they died. William D. and both his wives are buried there, William and Elizabeth in Goshen Cem. and Lucinda on her grandfather's farm. Another good resource would be newspapers. According to the Maury Co. TN Cemeteries book, W. D. had one of the largest attended funerals in that county. Ca. June 1889. 3. Good idea. I also thought of requesting a death certificate for Joseph T's sister, Sarah Younger Church, d. 1928 to see who is given as her father. Or maybe the children of William and Lucinda although I don't know who they all are. I read that William D. Jr. was the youngest of 12 children. I have at least 5 by Elizabeth and there could have been more before her death in 1852. I have a photocopy of Joseph T's original death certificate but the person giving the info could have said Wm. D which sounds a lot like G and the name was recorded wrong. Anything is possible which make the hunt frustrating at times. Thanks for your help.
