Is anybody else out there in Rootsweb-land interested in the YOUNGER family from Birkenhead. In the 1881 census they were the only family of that name in Birkenhead. My grandmother Ethel, a schoolteacher, was born two years later Ethel 13 April 1883. She married my grandfather Samuel Rowland in 1920 and died in Churton by Aldford 23 Dec 1941. There are several stories about her and her family which we have been unable to confirm or disprove and are now looking for anybody else who is researching them. In hope, Geoff Rowland
