Soon as I go through it (I dug it out to look up your bunch), I'll try to determine what has been posted and what hasn't, what is under copyright and what isn't. I may just have to do look-ups for people. I know we all have most of this information already. Does anybody know about copyright on this material? Brownie In a message dated 4/19/2009 8:37:03 A.M. You could break it into two or three installments if necessary and post them all on the Younger board?? Just thought I'd toss the idea out there, in case it seemed an easier alternative. The data itself cannot be copyrighted. Only the format of the data. So if you compile a book of marriages, for example, the data of the marriages can't be copyrighted, but the book itself can be. So if one retypes the data in another format, that's OK. But you just can't copy and resell the original book. So if she has whatever in narrative form, even it it does have the same data as a copyrighted source, it's not a problem, because it's her narrative form.
