There must be an error or typo on the year for John, uncle of William F. Younger. He is listed as age 70 in 1900, so born about 1830 in Kentucky. Here are notes I have for this John, born 18 August 1831 in Bullitt County, son of Isaac and Ellen/Eleanor Younger 1. John Younger, age 20, in Isaac Younger's household in Vermillion Co. Ind. 1850 census. 2. Josephine Swan to John Younger 22 Oct 1856 (lic) married 27 October 1856 (Vermillion Co. Ind. Marriage Records 1850-1904. Book 3. p. 424. FHL film #1380337) 3. Vermillion Co. Oh Debra, Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention! I didn't even think to question what was written in the census! Dumb me, I usually look at that, but was so focused on finding a John born 1819. I guess I had blinders on! Also, thanks for the added information. I didn't have his marriage info, or the 1860 census info. Wilma In case anyone is interested, William F. died in Illinois sometime between 1900-1910 census, and Alice (Dollarhide) Younger moved with her son, Perry L. to Oregon where he married and raised his family. I have more on this family if anyone is interested. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Deborah Campisano" <d.campisano@insightbb.com> To: <younger@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, April 19, 2009 10:59 PM Subject: Re: [YOUNGER] John Younger in Illinois > There must be an error or typo on the year for John, uncle of William F. > Younger.
