A few days ago I ran across this family while looking for a different Jemima Younger and decided to see where it would lead me. Well Robert James (a good solid Scottish name) was born in MD, his mother and father born in Scotland. I, of course, don't know who his father was, my guess is John based on the fact that he named his first son, John J. I traced the family through the census from 1850 to 1900 when Robert James evidently died since Fannie was a widow in 1910. I never found her after 1910 census so she probably died between 1910 and 1920. I found their marriage listed in the Maryland Marriages online, Frances L. Stevens was her maiden name. I'll be happy to post what I found if anyone has an interest. This family stayed in Baltimore, Maryland through 1920 census. I haven't searched the 1930 yet. Wilma
