    3. I'm only two years late in answerng this e-mail but I have some comments that might be helpful. Number one on my list is to correct an assumption that has no basis in fact. As to Elizabeth Lee - there is no Elizabeth Lee. This is how it happened. When Cole was in prison he wrote a letter to the Governor of Missouri who was an old aquaintance. Of course he was putting himself in his best possible light hoping to influence the governor to help his situation. He told him he was eligible to be a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and, in fact, his grandmother was a member of the Lee family. (He didn't say what Lee family and there are many beside the prominent ones) First of all, She was not his grandmother. Catherine Yeager was his grandmother. Since he did not mention a first name, one was invented for her and the name "Lizzy" began to surface. In due time, eager genealogists gave her more dignity and began calling her Elizabeth Lee. Now I do have my eye on a family of Lees in KY who seem to be closely connected with Henry and Ruth Younger. I'm not sure who they are or what their connection is, if any. I have never studied them close enough since I spent more time on the Youngers which I knew were connected to my personal interests. It's on my "to-do" list when I find the time. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Judy" <judy.foley@cmcss.net> To: <younger@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 26, 2006 10:04 PM Subject: [YOUNGER] St. Mary's County Lees > Pat Finnell, Are these or do you know if these Prices are related to > yours.
