Alexander left a will in Essex County, Virginia. Essex County Wills, Etc. No. 4, 1722-1730, Reel 40, pp 22-23, probated in court 1727. It names six children: James, Elizabeth, Ann, Mary, Jannet, Susannah. Wife Rebecca. Executors: wife, Rebecca, and son, Thomas. This is what I have in the way of documentation. The repository? Dunno. This is what happens when you copy other people, but at least it is a strong clue. Like you, I love the complete transcription. Maybe someone much more knowledgeable than me will post it. Is the actual will in an archive repository somewhere? Any info greatly appreciated!
