Lemuel was the son of Isaac Younger b abt 1772 MD (?). In 1880 he was living in Spring Garden, Jefferson County, KY. He was 50, laborer, by KY Robert I or J Younger m Frances L Stevens in MD. So, do you suppose that Lemuel (below) left KY and went back to MD to marry, or perhaps it was just the marriage info was sent to the Baltimore Sun? I first found Lemuel in 1850 Louisville, Jefferson Co. KY census, living with his brother Gilbert and Rebecca Hardey. Then I lost him in 1860 and 1870 -- didn't think to look in MD -- maybe that's where he was? The 1850 census was enumerated on August 6th, was supposed to be as of June 1 - so he could have made the trip to MD. in time to marry Sept 29th, 1850. ----- Original Message ----- From: Wilma C.
