    3. Reading all that you have searched has been very helpful. I am searching for the father of William Younger born 1816 in NC. Lived in Lincoln Co. Ky from a very young age. Was apprecenticed to Wm. Daughtery and married Elizabeth Daughtery 1-1-1837. Found in the 1850 census in Sommerset, Pulaski Co Ky. Migrated to Mason Co. Ill and settled in Sangamon Co. Ill. Fathered 10 children (that I am able document). Family names usual repeats: Josiah, Newton Jasper, Barry, Wm. T. John Quincy, Adam and Benjamin Franklin. Family lore states that Newton was the seventh generation born in the US. Question: the marriages that Bownie posted in June lists a Josiah Younger who married Eliza in 1791. Did they stay in Va or move south? Any help will be sincerely appreciated. Bette Andres

    3. I wish I had something wonderfull to give you but I don't. I have been in correspondence with a lady who has worked as hard as anyone can work and has as yet not solved the mystery of William Younger's parentage. In fact she has no more than you have. I would mention that I am intrigued by the name of Berry (Barry) for one of their children. Ms Hutchins had a line of Barrys and although they did not connect with the Youngers, they were associated in some way. As you go along in your search, keep an eye out for associated Barrys. It might lead to something. Bette Andres wrote: > Reading all that you have searched has been very helpful. I am > searching for the father of William Younger born 1816 in NC. Lived in > Lincoln Co.
