I'm a little surprised at the lack of comment concerning the documentation I put on the Site yesterday. Agree - disagree? Dialogue pro or con? Do we have a consensus of agreement? Can we put the question behind us or is it still open?
Willie.... I wanted to "chew it up, swallow it, and digest it" as one of my old teachers used to say about reading. I've read it twice...and now I want a disinterested party to read it before I come to a conclusion. I don't want to jump to one, because I possess all of that same documentation...just have not put it together and organized as well as you did it. It's hard for me to read legalese and absorb it quickly, so as soon as I come to a conclusion, I'll let you know. My immediate response is that ...yes, you have proven that Thomas was father of William/Mary Watkins Younger. Now, I'm concerned as to the parentage of William/Patience and what relation they were to the former. And I am also leaning toward the possible fact that William was son of Thomas, who was son of Thomas, who was son of Alexander. And that somehow...all those fifteen children need to be divvied up between the two Thomases. I certainly do appreciate what you did. Remarkable work!!!!
