Caswell County, NC To sons William, Aquilla, Joseph, John To daus Barbary, rebecca, Milly, Dolly, Elizabeth Names wife Jane Test: Junia Hall and William Matthis The will was written in Orange County but probated in Caswell County NC. Caswell County was formed from Orange in 1777. The fact that the will was probated in Caswell was probably a reflection of the fact that the County Seat of Caswell was probably closer than the County Seat in Orange County.
