Bk 10, Pg. 99 Halifax County, Va WILL OF MARCUS YOUNGER OF KING AND QUEEN AND HALIFAX COUNTIES IN VIRGINIA [copied and submitted by Margarette Hutchins] I Marcus Younger of Halifax County do hereby make my last will and testament in manner and form following. First, after the payment of my just debts, I give to my daughter Susannah fifty acres of land where my house stands during her natural life. Also, one Negro girl (Fanny) , one mare, one bed and furniture, one cow and calf to her an d her heirs forever. I give my grandson Younger Wyatt one mare, the rest of my estate to be equally divided between my four children namely, John Younger, Elizabeth Clark {note: I cannot find a Clark anywhere}, Mary Estes, and susannah Younger, together with my forenamed grandson Younger Wyatt. And Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son John Younger sole Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills and testaments by me herretofore made. In witness whereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal the 23rd day of June, 1805. Thanks Brownie -- this is what I had also. As far Elizabeth Clark, I have her married to Thomas Clark but nothing to back it up.
