Here is the reply I received from Carolyne Bowles (wife of Ralph). She does the researching, I had her listed under "Ralph" by mistake. I would tend to agree that the Nancy Estes in 1880 would not be Nancy Younger Woodworth -- since her children were with Nathan in 1870 and 1880. But, unless we can find a death record or cemetery record -- guess we won't know for sure. I can understand the question per Nancy Younger's time of death as I have questioned that myself. I believe her to be the Nancy Younger who married Nathan Woodworth and is in the 1860 AR. census with his family. I have always assumed she died prior to the 1870 census because she is not in that census with Nathan though her children are and it appears he has a new wife Mary. Some of Nancy's children are still with Nathan and Mary in 1880. Because the children are with Nathan, I assumed Nancy had died. However, in the 1880 census, Ellen Younger is in the census with a Nancy Estes age 48, having one wonder if Nancy might have still been alive. Following ages in prior census, I believe she should have been 43 not 48. Rechecking the original census might find that 8 was really a 3. One of many interesting mysteries.
