I have the 1850 census -- if you look at the entry just before this one, Richard Sanderson, then it looks like Charles S., but a few lines down where he writes Laborer -- it looks like the same L. I'm willing to go either way, since it's so hard to tell from the handwriting. I don't have any of the children for Jesse and Temperance, would like to have them.
