I don't know if this helps any or not, but thought I'd pass it on. I bought the 1790 U.S. Federal Census Index (AIS) CD put out by Ancestry.com. I only find one Joseph listed: he is Joseph in Wilkes Co. NC page 122. There were no other Joseph's listed. Anywhere. There is one Joseph Yonger in Kent Co. MD; a Junger (no first name) in Berks Co. PA; several Yonker - no Joseph among them.
