All of those messages that are "gatewayed" to our list are coming from ancestry.com -- we see all the messages relating to YOUNGER, but we cannot reply via the list. In order to answer a query, you have to click on the link which will take you to the Younger Surname message boards. >From what I've gathered from my other Lists, it is up to the List Administrator whether or not to allow the "gatewayed" messages to appear on Younger-L (or D). As far as I'm concerned, they are pesky little things -- can't reply without going thru the hoops -- and I'd rather not be bothered. Wilma
