#1 a MILTON Cage did not exist; that was a mistake by a transcriber. The man was Wilson Cage, brother of Fielding Cage. #2 Mary Bomar called him John Henry's father because he was as good as John Henry's father, because she was pregnant when Williamson died, and Wilson took over guardianship right away. She never married; she died soon after Williamson died. I doubt she was fooling around...no time with five little kids and pregnant with the last one. Margarette Hutchins did the research herself, and I furthered her research when I went to Halifax last year. I also got in touch with the descendants of John Henry. He went by the name of Younger many times. I have JHW Younger on deeds in Halifax. This is one thing I know a lot about. Fielding Cage was also a guardian of JHW, and Fielding moved to Louisiana. John Henry moved back to Carroll County, TN and married Ida Bomar after his first wife Lucy Lanier died. He died in either Atwood or McLemoresville. I posted all this information on the list last week.
