Note: The Sarah Ferguson we contamplate might have married Thomas Younger was not the daughter of John Ferguson and Sarah, whose last name was either Gatewood or Bridgeforth, according to people researching that line. I am not going to get too involved, as it is not important, other than to disregard them. This John Ferguson, who names a dau Jail (Jael) in his will was b 1741; d 1812 and she marries Thomas Ryland. This family really gets mixed up as they intermarry with cousin's wife's stepbrother's uncles or something that bad!! Their dau Sarah was married to a Griffin/Grigging at the time of the Will and Thomas Younger was not dead until 1791... Also, this John Ferguson was son of John Ferguson and Ann Stubbleson, who are better candidates for our Sarah's parents. I am not willing to eliminate her as yet... as a wife of Thomas.
