    3. Wilma N- Remember last night when we were talking about going over our own notes and finding something that was right there all along? This may be nothing but does tie Susannah Younger, dau of Marcus to Dolly Younger Light, dau of Thomas. Dolly is witness to Susannah's Will, as follows: -Signed Will: 1831, Halifax, Va, Usa. [Names slaves Fanny and Harry, providing for them to buy their freedom with a sum of money to her heirs named in the Will; sister Mary Estes; nephew, Younger Wyatt and his wife Polly; witness DOLLY LIGHT.] -Settlement of Estate: 28 Aug 1833; Executors S. C. Jackson and Richard Cook; Payees, Lucy Younger, John Lamdrum, Rec'd Samuel Younger, Joel Younger, Thomas Younger and Daniel Mills, Sr. [Halifax County, Virginia Will Book: Bk 15, pg 422.] Rachel Wyatt, dau of Leah Younger, marries a man named Joseph Landrum, possibly another coincidence, but they were married in Halifax abt 1814. (By 1821 they were in Indiana.) Marcus, if the abstract is in context, names his dau Susannah first, who was unmarried. Second he names grson James Wyatt, before his other children. Did he do this because James had no parents, or father? These Will Abstracts I have posted were obtained online by doing a search on the name, via FTM. I cut and pasted all I have on Marcus, but am still looking. 3. I wrote a letter a couple of weeks ago to someone who quoted Marcus' will and asked if she had a copy -- no word yet from her. Hopefully soon. ----- Original Message ----- From: JYG <jyg@kc.rr.com> To: <YOUNGER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 19, 2001 3:42 PM Subject: [YOUNGER] Wilma N-Re: Marcus Younger will > Wilma N- >
