They had a son Joseph b 4 Sep 1823 in Hickman County TN What appears to be an unrelated Mayberry sighting- Ingram Jones Mayberry m Mary Lucinda Younger b 1848 in Wilkes County NC. She was the daughter of Joseph Holton and Adeline Williams Younger. They had children: Lillian, Cora and Leonard

Have some differences here: Tn Marriages has the date 18 Jan 1817 for Mary and John Mayberry. I have Mary b 11 Mar 1792 Chatham, Nc, Usa; ded Aug 1787 Kanesville, Weber, Ut, Usa I also have Lucinda married first aft 1872 Wilkes, Nc, to Reuben B. Mayberry Any ideas about this discrepancy? Sometimes it depends on whether you are talking about the date the bond was issued or the date when the marriage actually happened. Since these dates are so close I would suggest that that might be the case here with John and Mary As for Mary's birth date, since both May and March start with Ma , it may be a typo. I can't account for the difference in the birth year. The date you have for Mary's death would have her dying before she was born - Aug 1787 Finally I can't account for the confusion with Mary Lucinda's marriages. I would suggest we fall back on the documentation. I have to say at the outset I do not have any documentation on the Younger/Mayberrys. If you have documentation, please share it and I will make the appropriate changes. We must remember Ms Hutchins was just like the rest of us. I am certain she made mistakes, too.
