Stephen, I'm pretty much in your corner. I do not have a question in my mind that the William who married Mary Watkins is the son of Thomas. There is so much documentation in the settling of the two estates (William and Williamson) that it is proved over and over again. The William who married Patience is just plain "hanging out there" by himself because we haven't figured it out yet. But there are two Williams! and they don't both belong to Thomas. I just wasted a lot of precious time with my flight of fancy or I would start typing court records. S.
