Wilma H- Just for the record, I have seen several children named the same name, and both living until adulthood. I do not have any knowledge of why they would do such a thing. In this case, yes the name is quite remarkably seperate. I do recall a Joseph James and his brother Joseph James. They did have different mothers and were referred to as Joseph, the elder and Joseph, the younger. Does anyone have JHW in the 1850 census? I cannot find him in MS, where he married in 1849, nor TN, where he married again. Where did he go in between this time? Linda in KC
